Question
I'm developing a Tizen application and encountering issues with certificate creation in Tizen Studio 2.2 on Windows 10.
When attempting to create a Tizen certificate, the process fails at the final step when clicking the Finish button - no certificate is generated.
For Samsung certificates, after signing in with my Samsung account, the Certificate Manager becomes unresponsive (see attached screenshot).
I'm unsure what's causing these issues and would appreciate any guidance on resolving them.
Answer
Problem Understanding
The issue appears to be related to certificate creation in Tizen Studio 2.2, specifically:
- Tizen certificates not being generated when completing the creation process
- Samsung certificate creation failing after authentication, with the Certificate Manager becoming unresponsive
Solution Methods
-
Server-Side Issues:
- This might be a temporary server-side problem with Samsung's certificate services
- Try again after some time or check Samsung's developer portal for service status
-
Environment Verification:
- Ensure your Windows 10 system meets all requirements for Tizen Studio 2.2
- Verify your internet connection is stable during certificate creation
-
Alternative Approaches:
- Try creating certificates on a different machine or network
- Consider using the CLI (Command Line Interface) method for certificate creation as an alternative
Additional Tips
- Clear your browser cache and cookies before attempting Samsung account login
- Check firewall settings to ensure they're not blocking Tizen Studio's network connections
- For persistent issues, consider contacting Samsung Developer Support with detailed logs
