Tizen Studio Download Failure Due to Network Error

Original Created Feb 06, 2020 | Regeneration Apr 22, 2026

I attempted to download Tizen Studio 3.6 multiple times using the IDE installer (Windows/Origin), but all attempts failed with a network error (related to download speed).

I tried downloading on a different computer, but encountered the same issue - the download stops at 1.6MB out of 516MB.

Could you please help me understand why this is happening and how to resolve it?

Problem Understanding

The user is experiencing network-related download failures when trying to install Tizen Studio 3.6 on Windows. The issue persists across different computers, suggesting it might be related to network conditions or server connectivity rather than a local machine problem.

Solution Methods

  1. Retry the Download:

    • Network conditions might have improved since the initial attempts
    • Try downloading again during off-peak hours
  2. Use Alternative Download Methods:

    • Try downloading from a different network connection
    • Use a download manager that supports resume functionality
    • Check if mirror sites are available for download
  3. Verify System Requirements:

    • Ensure your system meets the minimum requirements for Tizen Studio
    • Check for any firewall or antivirus software that might be blocking the download

Additional Tips

  • If the issue persists, consider contacting Tizen support with details about your network environment and the exact error messages
